Valeen, the radiant bride, donned a custom beaded bridal gown, a creation by her college best friend and fashion designer, Banggo Niu. The gown, intricately designed to be worn in two ways, held sentimental value for the designer, who posted on Instagram, “I will never forget the time I told you back in university that I would make your wedding gown. And, now, the time has come! It’s an honor to be part of this new chapter in your life, Vee! Love you!

The groom wore a tux while the groomsmen donned suits with a single white rose boutonniere each as the accent.

The bridal entourage were dressed in forest green hues, carrying simple bouquets made up of white gypsophila. Valeen walked the aisle holding a bouquet of white roses and calla lilies, with the Mandaluyong Children’s Choir singing live for the bride’s march.

Transitioning to the reception at The Conservatory in The Peninsula Manila, Makati City, Valeen transformed her look, taking off the long train and off-shoulder pleated band for a strapless serpentine-cut gown. The venue, adorned with white blooms styled by Dave Sandoval, provided a picturesque backdrop for the celebration.

Valeen tells Wedding Essentials, “I had the best suppliers. I love how intimate our wedding was, no rough edges, and everything was seamless and perfect! Our friends and family also understood the assignment to just simply have fun.” She shared her list of suppliers, including wedding planner Cha Andrada, High Impact Events Enterprise for the lights and sounds, Cakesmiths Manila for the wedding cake jars, Rustic Creations by Anj for the principal sponsors’ gifts. The bride’s jewelry is from Arca Bespoke, while their wedding bands are by Liya Fine Jewelry.
