Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) host Robi Domingo and his non-showbiz partner Maiqui Pineda recently exchanged vows in a beautiful Filipino-themed wedding. The couple opted for an intimate church ceremony held at San Isidro Labrador Parish in Pulilan, Bulacan on Jan. 6, 2024.
Robi wore a traditional Barong ensemble, as seen in a video shared by Mico Del Rosario.
Meanwhile, Maiqui looked absolutely ethereal in a serpentine-cut gown, complemented by a clean, white, and long sheer bridal veil.
Her bridesmaids also looked stunning in laurel green dresses paired with an overlay of terno tops in natural fabric and hues. Designer Rajo Laurel posted, “Our first wedding for 2024! Always so grateful to be part of one’s life highlights. I have known Maiqui since she was a little girl. Her mom, Malou Pineda, is one of my OG muses and a very dear friend. Thank you for trusting all of us at House of Laurel for your wedding entourage. We used our signature Love Letter technique. We are so all so very happy for you! Wishing you and Robi Domingo a long and blissful marriage.”
The bride changed into another outfit for the reception. Rajo shared more details, “When Maiqui asked me to create a modern Filipino ensemble for her wedding, I knew exactly what I wanted to create for her. I’ve known our new bride since she was wee little girl and I have had the privilege of designing for her family for many many years. Maiqui’s bouquet, designed by Spruce Designs, featured fresh white lilacs, didn’t fail to get everyone’s attention.
The guests, as seen on Melai Cantiveros’ Instagram story, were treated to a delightful spread of Filipino delicacies, including biko, hopia, halo-halo, and more. Cibo di Marghi is behind this feast.
The wedding was attended by several celebrities, including Darren Espanto, Donny Pangilinan, Melai Cantiveros, Daniel Padilla, Piolo Pascual, Kathryn Bernardo, Gab Valenciano, Enchong Dee, Joshua Garcia, Regine and Ogie Alcasid, and many others.
