“Sukdulan” actress Katya Santos has recently announced her engagement to her non-showbiz partner Paolo Pilar. The couple shared their sweet moments at Lake Ashi in Hakone, Japan, through joint Instagram posts on Jan. 5, 2024.
Reflecting on their journey, former Viva Hot Babe captioned her post with a heartfelt message, stating that their story began in 2004, and while some may believe it was love at first sight, she firmly believes it was destiny.
Paolo also took to Instagram to share his excitement, revealing that he met the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with twenty years ago on the beautiful island of Boracay.
“20 years ago I met a wonderful woman named Katrina, in the beautiful island of Boracay,” he wrote, adding, “Today in 2024, I finally asked her to be my wife with our families, friends, and the majestic Fuji-San as witnesses. I have loved you for 20 years and would continue to do so until my last breath. To forever, my Pungay!”
Paolo shared some beautiful photos of the proposal, where Katya proudly displayed her dazzling solitaire engagement ring.
With a stunning backdrop, Paolo knelt down on one knee. Katya’s daughter Tala, also present at the memorable day creating a picturesque moment filled with love and anticipation.
