The world-renowned designer said that they only had two fittings due to Rodriguez’s busy schedule as he was in a lock-in taping. Libiran said that Rodriguez, as a matinee idol, exhibited dreamy roles throughout his career which he wanted to showcase in his wedding suit.
Libiran said, “I conceptualized a suit using textured brocade material. We planned it to be all black to make him look classically amorous. At first glance, romance is one of his charms, so I embedded that aspect as a representation of his romantic side.”
Rodriguez expressed impression upon receiving and trying on the suit, mentioning that describing the Francis Libiran experience as amazing is an “extreme understatement.” In a testimonial video, Rodriguez said that he loved everything about his handcrafted suit from Libiran.
“Seeing the suit and trying it on made me feel fresher and younger,” described the actor.
He also mentioned that his tapings made him tired but having a striking look on his wedding day was also important.
Libiran described the actor as a perfect embodiment of the brand’s perfect model, for Rodriguez’s vibrant personality and confidence while wearing an ensemble makes him stand out. “I am looking forward to working with him again, and I wish him and Carla a long, enduring marriage.”
