It took three rescheduling to make Angelo Patriomonio and Jasmine Maierhofer’s dream wedding come true. The original date was March 3, then it got moved to September 3 as this is their 10th year anniversary as a couple. But because this was a very special date, they still pushed through. “We had an intimate wedding ceremony just with Angelo’s family in their house because our wedding license was about to expire,” Jasmine tells Wedding Essentials.
On October 13 was the big day when all their suppliers were also available. They got married on a Wednesday at 3:33 p.m. in Club Ananda. If you noticed, there’s a lot of number three’s involved in the wedding plans. Jasmine explains, “We love the number three because we’re in a love triangle with God.”
With reschedules and matching of supplier availabilities, the bride admitted that she was stressed but grateful for her coordinator. “She handled everything with grace. My only dilemma was inviting the guests over and over.” But they overcame every road block, from the stress of finding out that Taal Volcano emitting smoke a week prior to last-minute changes such as seating arrangements, nurses who were late in conducting the swab tests. “It’s really one of the best days. Joy was overflowing, seeing ur loved ones celebrate our special day with us. I do hope every girl gets to experience this. After all, it’s a union made by God.”
When asked what their favorite moments were, Jasmine says that it was her walk down the aisle, when everything was sinking and it’s finally happening. As for Angelo, it was standing with his parents as he watched Jasmine walk toward him and listening to her speech, “You, God, and me make a wonderful WE.”
With everything that happened, Jasmine knew that everything would fall into place. “Don’t stress too much because God’s plan is always the best. Let go and let God do the work that we have no control. Just enjoy every bit of it and think that every challenge has a reward after. The love that surrounds us that day was priceless. I don’t want that day to end, everything happened so fast and I want to treasure it all.”
