More often than not, ideas come to fruition by going back to basics. When one tries to cancel out the noise and find what matters most, that’s when you find what truly makes you happy. (Words JANE KINGSU-CHENG | Photography SOULFUL STUDIO by JAN PAGZ)
Jail custodian Jobert Malabago and jail nurse Junamar Torregue worked together with Soulful Studio in conceptualizing their prenup shoot. Realizing that it was best to focus on how their love story began, the whole day shoot became a breeze for the whole team. “We actually loved the whole shoot since we really enjoyed it,” the couple told Wedding Essentials.
The couple met last year at work, in Lapu-Lapu City’s Office of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) to be exact. It took place during the pandemic with the jail under lockdown. “Due to restrictions and protocols, we have limited access,” revealed the couple.
But trusting your photography team to do their job and share your story was one of the reasons why this shoot came out raw and beautiful. The couple ended the interview with a tip, “Our advice for those who are planning their prenup shoot to simply share their love story to make it more memorable and soulful.”
