WE puts the spotlight on a talented, young make up artist, and Pampanga’s own, Al Vitug.

From news correspondent to a professional makeup artist, Al Vitug has truly been a good example that anyone can reach their dreams as long as they set eyes on it. Al studied make up at Makeup Designory (MUD), Manila –  the largest makeup academy in Los Angeles, New York and Europe.

Artistry has been running in her blood. She practiced oil painting, water color and charcoal sketching/drawing and has collaborated with local and international editorial, events and wedding photographers and videographers like Film Director, Cinematographer & Photographer Von Buenconsejo; Borj Meneses of FHM Philippines, ASEAN Dragon & Pampanga PEP; and Pampanga’s top-notch Photographers Paolo Feliciano, Chester Sigua, Bruno Tiotuico, Peaboh David; Chug Cadiogan Cinema; Harry Harold Photography (New Zealand-based); Videographers Bow & Arrow; Cris-Mont Photography; and Ian & Liz Photography, among others.

“I love to capture every face I touch, and how each woman translates makeup into confidence. I can’t take my eyes off them. I try to make time making a little story from the makeup images I created.  It’s the love I bring to my creative job and my way of staying connected with my clients.”

“A beautiful art can be seen in a human canvass and Makeup does it. With the same artistic elements and tools, my artistic roots in Oil Painting and Drawing connected me with Makeup. My support for other women to build their confidence through makeup is what keeps me passionate also about this type of artistry. Their stories and innate beauty tool my hands with all what makeup can do to radiate their outer beauty.  I wish to stay long in this craft, but the journey is what truly makes me happier. The trust of those who believed in me along the way will always be engraved in my heart. I hope to transcend on this flair and be able to draw beauty and happiness on every face.”
