Michael Cinco’s Fairytale Bride in Blush

Dubai-based Filipino designer, Michael Cinco has been making bridal dreams come true. From celebrities to heiresses, Cinco has created some of the most spectacular bridal gowns that have been referenced and archived by major fashion publications and social media sites.

One particular creation that caught our attention was his most recent masterpiece for an Arab bride who looked every inch a fairytale princess. In keeping with the subtly-colored wedding dress trend, the bride opted for a blush Victorian-inspired ball gown on her big day. The corseted gown with linear patterns to highlight a cinched waist is embellished with opalescent pink crystals in a festooned motif.

The magnificent lace skirt fans out perfectly with a structured flounce making up the gown’s exquisite train.

Completing the bridal look is a custom-made crown of round-cut Swarovski crystals by Perla Bridal, jewels from Tiffany & Co. and a bouquet of fresh pink roses.

The original gown design was taken from Cinco’s 2019 bridal collection entitled: The Impalpable Dream Of The Orient. According to the designer, most brides ask him to exclusively design their wedding frocks but if a bridal look is ordered from his existing collections, he changes some elements and makes sure they’re the only bride wearing the design in a particular city.

Cinco shares, “Weddings are big events in the Arab world. It’s the only time women can wear their expensive gowns and diamonds so they look forward to attend and celebrate this event.”

This photoshoot was shot on location at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai with luxury weddings and events planner, Bianca Events transforming the outdoor space into a lush rose garden with opulent touches such as gilded chairs, a mirrored aisle and chandeliers touching the floor for visual interest. Violet Studio captured beautiful images at sundown echoing the dreamy pink hues of the décor and sky.
