Leonard and Danielle’s Mystical Rainforest Themed Wedding

There’s nothing like a wedding that translates its theme seamlessly from when the couple prepares for the big day ahead, to the moment they clink glasses during the reception.

In the morning of the wedding, Danielle got ready in a seafoam green robe by Covers and Curves by Pamela Chan, which would be a resounding color theme throughout the occasion.

She then changed into a gorgeous venus-cut, nude ballgown decorated with white flower appliqués by renowned designer Mak Tumang. Makeup artist Lian Capili Chan gave the bride a peachy glow with a touch of pink sparkles on her lids.

Leonard wore a black and white tux by Suit it Up Manila while his groomsmen donned gray suits with sterling ties. The little groomsmen, on the other hand, sported fern green bowties to match the whole theme.

The ceremony took place in Christ the King Parish Greenmeadows where the aisle was decorated with flowers by Dangwa Florist who also put together the bride’s bouquet.

The bridal entourage wore a beautiful combination of rose, lavender, and green pastels. As a special touch, instead of going for bouquets, the bride crafted her own version of decorated hoops for her entourage to carry.

The mother of the bride looked glowing wearing a lovely sheer, nude creation by Michael Leyva that had just the right amount of sparkles–which is tantamount to a lot!

The reception was held in The Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan where guests were greeted by food carts upon registration. The food carts actually tell the couple’s love story where they met at a party where they were both hired as suppliers: Leonard owns Spud Buds while Danielle owns Fluffed. They then exchanged business cards and while some say the rest is history, that moment was actually forevermore. Fast forward to the wedding day, Leonard enclosed with his letter the business card Danielle gave him the first time they met.

The venue was styled by She Dreams In Ink who perfectly executed the rainforest theme with colored lights that added a mystical feel to the venue.

The couple kicked off the celebration with a dance number that was choreographed by their friend Stefan Raymundo. The entire number took six months to rehearse, which turned out looking like it was worth every second. If you’re still in limbo considering whether or not you’ll do a dance number for your wedding, these photos might help you decide.

The groom then changed into a sharp blue suit by Suit It Up while the bride removed the skirt that revealed her jumpsuit by Mak Tumang. The groom surprised the bride with a special song number then proceeded to cut the towering five-tier cake by Audrey’s Pastry Boutique together.

The father-daughter dance got emotional even for their loved ones as he marries off his last daughter.

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Co!
