Last October 5-6, 2018, Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino presented its 4th biggest and grandest bridal fair in the city –the Cebu Wedding Expo“Weddings at the Waterfront”. The grand finale was a bridal fashion show entitled “World CLASS Weddings at the Waterfront” that showcased the works of five of the most celebrated and world-class Filipino designers: Michael Cinco, Francis Libiran, Furne Amato, Ezra Santos, and Cary Santiago.
Francis Libiran’s collection was wrapped in whimsical colours of purple and blue, dashed with intricate beading that structured the dresses. Having already solidified his name in bridal fashion, Libiran gives us a breath of fresh air by going against doing an all-white line, allowing us feel giddy just imagining how the dresses would look on us.
The designer is also sparking a trend more courageous brides could wear on their big day: glitterized stocking-shoes that would perfectly compliment slitted dresses.
The show then ends with a stunning ballgown that looked like beaded, layered giant petals hugging the body of the wearer who was none other than Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa.
