Bridal Beauty: Tools You Need to Enhance Your Beauty Regimen

The top makeup artists in the industry recommend brides to build their beauty regimen at least 6 months before their wedding day. Because we all want to achieve our best skin on our big day, we recommend brides to enhance their skin regimen by taking it up a notch from their usual skincare– like splurging on a bottle of that skin elixir. To enhance the effects of your new skin regimen, we hunted down some tools that would help:

  1. The Rose Quartz Roller is made from rose quartz crystal, which is the stone known to correspond to the heart chakra or the energy center of love. If you don’t believe in crystal healing, the rolling motion also has a lot of amazing benefits such as improving the elasticity of skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines, easing facial muscle tension and helping products absorb better. Use it every morning or at night months before your wedding to promote lymphatic drainage. (shop for this on @veste.ph)
  2. The Rose Quartz Gua Sha is another form of rose quartz crystal that is believed to be a great beautifying crystal. The technique applied in using the gua sha is different from the roller as it aims to give your skin that extra lift and relieving muscle tension by doing the intensive directional massage technique to yourself illustrated below. (shop for this on @veste.ph)
  3. Next on our list is the Derma Roller that contains hundreds of tiny needles that create micro-injuries on the skin. This tricks your body to send more collagen and elastin production into that area, leaving you with renewed skin. It’s perfect for filling in fine lines and wrinkles as well as treating acne scars and discoloration. When used with a serum, it helps boost ingredient absorption up to 90%. Use the derma roller at least six months before your wedding day. Depending on the problem area, it usually takes at least 3 or more sessions of derma rolling (usually just once every 3 weeks, especially for beginners) to see a significant difference. 4. For tools that are essential on the day of your wedding, the Ice Roller is a definite need! It helps reduce puffiness, minimizes pores, evens out your skin tone and gets rid of redness, reduces acne irritation (we can’t risk the surprise breakout on the big day!), and gets rid of puffiness, making your skin a good base for the makeup products that will be applied on you. Not to mention that it really is pretty relaxing, so use the ice roller on the morning of your big day for glowing skin! (shop for this on @shimmerbeautyph)
  5. If you’re in need of a miracle, keep a 24k Gold Collagen Mask in your bridal kit that you can use the night before the wedding or the morning of the wedding before you sit in the makeup chair. This product improves elasticity and firmness around the delicate eye area, minimizes the appearance of dark circles, and relieves puffiness in the eye area. The best thing about this mask is you just have to leave it on for 20 minutes and you’re good to go. (shop for this on @shimmerbeautyph)
