In the Mood for Love

Food blogger and columnist Jin Perez ties the knot with Jerome Go in a ceremony packed with friends and loved ones who were all too happy to share the special moment with the couple as they exchanged vows with the promise of forever.

The bride wore a Rosa Clara dress with a modern Chinese collar, echoing the traditional qipao design. What really completes the whole look though is how the bride wore her hair the way Chinese girls used to wear in an updo during special occasions: side-parted in front with a lot of teasing in the back, and finally wrapped into a bun accessorized with flowers and a burst of pearls.

Once the doors of the church opened, the bride was greeted with warm smiles and teary eyes.

The entourage also wore a deep color of red that matched their burgundy blooms by Teddy Manuel.

The reception held in the Marriott Hotel Manila is sprawling with traditional Chinese elements that come with a depth of romance, quite reminiscent of the feel of the movie “In the Mood for Love”. The whole reception venue was splashed with the color of red, accented with colorful flora nestled inside Chinese porcelain vases.

Even the cake made by Mannix Pena kept up with tradition in the colors of burgundy red and gold, touched with sprigs of cherry blossoms.

Cheers to a lifetime overflowing with love, Jerome and Jin!
